From Homelessness to Home

Moving from homelessness to permanent homes is more complicated for some than others. It can involve wariness of people who offer help, stress about having the skills necessary to remain in a home, and anxiety and fear about such a major change in one’s life, including concerns about losses of relationships and a sense of community with others who have been depended on, sometimes for years. This document pulls together ideas and resources that may be useful to housing providers who are supporting those who have concerns about moving to permanent homes to ease this sometimes rough transition
